Continental is a very stable community, most of our residents
come from an agricultural background with excellent work ethics. Many are part time
farmers driving up to 35 miles to work every day, who would welcome an opportunity to work
in Continental. Continental takes great pride in our educational system. Our Elementary, Middle and High schools have excellent facilities and equipment to provide a well-rounded education. A vocational school and five college campuses are within 45 miles of Continental. Our Industrial park has 22 acres available. This tract is located on the west side of the village just outside the corporation limits. Southeast of the village on State Route 613, 51 acres are also available for industrial development. Water, sewage, electricity, and railroad sidings are all available, with access to paved roads leading to all major highways. In addition 39 acres are available east of the village with water, sewage and electricity. Electric: Ohio Power Company, one of the largest electric utilities in the state of Ohio serves the village of Continental.
