Columbus Grove is a rural farming community of approximately 2300 people. The residents are hard working, family oriented people. This is reflected in our schools and churches.   Our public school just went through a major expansion program; adding a new cafeteria and classrooms. There  is also a parochial school system for children in grades first through eighth.  The recent construction of the Good Shepherd Church makes a total of five churches, to serve both the Protestant and Catholic religions.   We have a variety of recreational activities for our youth, including one of the finest swimming pools in the county, and the new Hall Avenue Park, which has both soccer and ball fields.  The city recently annexed ground on the south side of the village for the establishment of an industrial park and enterprise zone. Village Council is currently working on plans to extend utilities to the area. So, whether you are just passing through, or planning on staying awhile, we would like the opportunity to show you what our community has to offer.
